Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Pay rate: $25 - $30/hr.
Commercial Maintenance Technician essential tasks:
Be responsible performing preventative maintenance and repairs as per work orders, ensuring compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and regulations. Duties include minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry maintenance, such as unclogging drains, repairing leaks, replacing fixtures, and painting or drywall repairs. The position also requires completing service and asset inspections, using technology for work orders, service reports, and time tracking. The individual will manage materials, maintain positive client relationships, provide project estimates, and attend safety training and meetings. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:

  • HS diploma, degree/certification, or equivalent experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing), or Specialty Floor Care preferred.
  • 2-5 years of mechanical experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry), or equivalent training and experience, ideally in landscape, janitorial, or construction services.
  • Must possess relevant certifications, licenses, and a valid driver's license in good standing.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, write reports, and effectively communicate in individual and small group settings.
  • Proficient in using handheld devices, business systems, and software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MS Office).
  • Comply with safety codes, regulations, and OSHA standards, performing day-to-day repairs and preventive maintenance while ensuring safe operations.
