Paid Parental Leave after six months.nnOTHER COMPENSATION: Eligible for overtime, holiday premium pay, and premiums based on shift and environmental conditions.nnPosition Summary:nnBattery ChangernnThis role is responsible for basic preventative, routine maintenance, and repair of equipment; maintain appropriate documentation of maintenance.nnHere’s what you’ll do:nnResponsible for basic preventative, routine maintenance for equipment; maintain and complete basic repairs of equipment to include batteries, forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment.nnMeet with supervisor/lead to discuss maintenance and repair orders and priorities, and any issues or conditions which might affect the operation of the equipment.nnAssess the preventive maintenance schedule to ensure equipment maintenance is completed on schedule to avoid major repairs, down time of the equipment's etc.nnOrder replacement parts, ensure that the parts ordered are correct and complete at the time of order.nnUtilize maintenance systems as necessary to ensure timely documentation of maintenance and repairs.nnMaintain a safe working environment and ensure completed work areas are clean.nnAdditional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.nnHere’s what you’ll need:nnDriver’s License (Required)nnHilo License (Preferred)nnOne year mechanical/machinery maintenance and/or repair experience or related technical school certificate.nnAbility to obtain forklift certification.nnProficiency in the use of mechanical tools required.nnMust have necessary mechanic tools to maintain and repair machinery and equipment's.nnMust be able to safely drive material handling equipment.nnGood communication skills, written and verbal to communicate and/or document maintenance needs and status of projects.nnMust report for work regularly and on time, as scheduled.nnMust be able to take direction from supervisor(s) and works well with others.nnMust work well under pressure, and is able to organize and prioritize work assignments, and meet established deadlines.nnMust perform assigned tasks accurately and completely.nnMust be flexible and able to handle changes in work requirements productively.nnPhysical Requirements:nnThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
