Akkodis is seeking an HVAC Technician for a Contract job with a client in Fort Worth, TX. Candidates must have HVAC experience and possess a Universal Refrigeration License. Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Rate Range: $28/hour to $34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
HVAC Technician job responsibilities include:
- Perform preventative, corrective, and general maintenance of HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment, adjusting as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate logs, perform system tests, and conduct regular inspections to identify and address equipment deficiencies.
- Collaborate with the Facility Maintenance Manager to ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
- Assist with chemical water treatment programs and maintain inventory of filters and refrigerants.
- Maintain tools, order supplies, and ensure work areas are clean and organized.
Desired Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED with formal training in HVAC operations; relevant certifications and documentation required.
- Five (5) or more years of related HVAC experience.
- Must possess a valid Universal Refrigeration License and driver's license.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents and communicate effectively with team members.
