JOB REQUIREMENTS: **There is a 13% shift premium for this 3rd shift position** Duties / Responsibilities: Ensure plant is being run efficiently and safely by ensuring schedules are being met for customers Work closely with employees on shift to accomplish set schedules and commitments Scheduling of work and communicating to customers as needed Oversee operations on production floor Understand the processing of all material within production areas Coordinate with Maintenance Department for any equipment repairs Document & report all equipment issues to the Plant manager Work 1:1 with employees to coach to overall performance Conduct semi-annual employe reviews for all team members Provide training, coaching and disciplinary actions for all team members Maintain documentation of training for employees Conduct start up of new equipment and record all training documents needed Complete shift audit forms Manage inter-shift meetings and participate in plant walk-throughs Communicate lead times to CSR department and customers Maintain and strengthen employee morale through servant leadership philosophy Provide constructive recommendations for overall improvements in safety, quality and productivity standards of performance Qualifications / Requirements High School diploma or equivalent 2+ years in heat treating 2+ years prior management / leadership experience Understanding in Bluestreak and Microsoft Office Knowledge and/or previous experience of 6S Fluent in English (reading and speaking) Knowledge of plant equipment and procedures Basic math and computer skills excellent written and verbal communication Able to motivate and encourage a team Excellent public speaking skills Humble and approachable Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25lb regularly Able to work effectively and productively in hot environment We are committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all employees.
