That’s what #LifeAtCummins is all about.nnWe are looking for a talented Maintenance Tech II to join our team for our location in York, SC.nnIn this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:nnPerforms maintenance and machine support tasks to keep equipment available and capable.nnSelects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment completing work with limited guidance.nnLearns and understand the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.nnPerforms work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.nnRepairs and maintains manufacturing equipment.nnPerforms and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.nnMaintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.nnPerforms other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals.nnRESPONSIBILITIESnnTo be successful in this role you will need the following:nnHigh school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.nnThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.nn5 years previous mechanical and electrical maintenance experience strongly preferred.nnCNC Machining troubleshooting experience preferred.nnRobotics (FANUC) troubleshooting experience preferred.nnPLC (Allen Bradley) troubleshooting experience preferred.nn3rd Shift: M-F, 11:00 PM - 7:20 AMnnTraining will be on 1st shift for the first 30 – 60 days, then will transition to assigned shift.nnOvertime available every other weekend for preventative maintenance, based on the needs of the facility.nnQUALIFICATIONSnnCompensation and BenefitsnnBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
