For more information, visit our website , or connect with us on LinkedIn or Twitter.nnResponsibilitiesnnPURPOSE: Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for supervising improvements, repairs, and general maintenance of facility including plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, machinery and all other systems.nnRESPONSIBILITIES:nnSafety First - Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements.nnEnsure proper training of employees, assign and direct work overseeing day to day operations of the Maintenance Department.nnManage team schedule and hoursnnOversee projects to completion including supervision of contractors to ensure projects are completed correctly, on time, and under budget.nnLead and/or participate in cross-functional teams that focus on process improvementnnAssist in developing, evaluating, and editing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.nnAssist with inspection and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems.nnLead regular department meetings.nnWork with vendors on new technology.nnEvaluate downtime.nnMaintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirementsnnCoach, develop and discipline employees as necessary while maintaining a positive work environment.nnPromote a safe work environment, maintaining clean and organized workspaces in compliance with Berry standardsnnPerform other related duties as assigned.nnQualificationsnnQUALIFICATIONS:nnBA Degree in Engineering or similar curriculum preferred.nnCertification in related field required.nnAt least 5 years of extensive, progressive maintenance experience in manufacturing facility.nnElectrical, boiler and HVAC certification preferred.nnAbility to manage, direct, and coordinate employees and processes.nnExcellent interpersonal skills through verbal and written communicationnnStrong organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.nnComputer skills required including MS Excel and general email.nnTRAVEL AND MOBILITY REQUIREMENTS:nnAbility to travel as necessary (10-20%)nnSupport all shifts as required.nnWilling to spend the majority of time in the plant for equipment installation, upgrades and/or troubleshooting.nnCompensation:nn$90,000 to $115,000 annuallynnWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
