Sometimes requires the direction of part-time helpers and operation of a power truck in performance of duties.nnAdhere to all facility safety guidelines and encourage communication and participation of personnel to further identify and reduce/eliminate potential hazards.nnFollow safe practices to avoid injury to self or others including lock-out-tag out if necessary. The incumbent may be required to work on equipment that is at least six feet from floor level, using the proper equipment and safety precautions for fall protection. The mechanic will insure that all guarding or other safety devices will be replaced as required when work is completed. All work must be performed in accordance with National Electrical Code Requirements.nnAdhere to and support all facility environmental guidelines and procedures to identify additional pollution prevention projects to reduce waste and raw material consumption.
