Job Overview:nnWe are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting products, materials, and components to ensure they meet specified quality standards and are free from defects. This role requires the ability to use precision measurement tools, analyze product specifications, and work closely with production teams to ensure high standards of quality are maintained throughout the manufacturing process.nnKey Responsibilities:nnPerform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.nnUse precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM machines to assess product dimensions and tolerances.nnReview technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to verify that products meet required specifications.nnDocument inspection results, report non-conformance issues, and track quality metrics.nnIdentify defects or deviations from quality standards and work with production teams to resolve issues promptly.nnConduct sampling inspections of products and materials at various stages of the production process.nnPerform first-article inspections and final product inspections before shipment to ensure quality requirements are met.nnAssist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and corrective action plans.nnCollaborate with engineering and production teams to recommend process improvements that can reduce defects and improve product quality.nnEnsure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements during inspections and quality checks.nnMaintain an organized and clean inspection area, ensuring tools and equipment are calibrated and in proper working order.nnRequired Qualifications:nnHigh school diploma or equivalent; certification in quality control or a related field is a plus.nnAt least 1–2 years of experience in quality control or quality inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.nnStrong knowledge of quality control processes, standards, and inspection techniques.nnProficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment.nnAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.nnStrong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.nnGood communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.nnFamiliarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and industry standards.nnAbility to follow established safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnCertification in quality inspection (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Inspector).nnExperience with statistical process control (SPC) and other quality improvement methodologies.nnKnowledge of 5S or Lean Manufacturing principles.nnExperience with non-destructive testing (NDT) or specialized inspection techniques (e.g., visual, ultrasonic, etc.).nnProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or quality management software.nnPay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hournnBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
