Senior Solar Project Manager

Location: West Coast; Southern California | Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

A leading renewable energy developer (Solar Power World) of Appleton Finn - that specializes in developing design-build commercial & industrial (C&I) solar projects across California is seeking a high performing Senior Solar Project Manager to lead their project portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Primary point of contact for clients, acting as an owners representative.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate project designs, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Work in conjunction with the solar superintendent to ensure project compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards at all project sites.
• Identify and address any project challenges, proactively implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
• Lead project development activities for C&I solar projects, focusing on the east coast, with sporadic travel to project sites.

Qualifications:

• (Essential) Minimum of 3 years of experience in Solar Project Management for a Developer, with a focus on community-scale or C&I projects.
• (Essential) Ability to work from office 5 days a week
• (Desired) Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for C&I solar and/or electrical projects for an EPC.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with a focus on safety and quality.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, construction management, and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Project Management software and OSHA safety certifications.
