Job Title: Vice President of Operations

Location: Wisconsin

Position Summary:

The Vice President of Operations will oversee and drive the efficiency of our manufacturing, production, and supply chain functions. This role requires a strategic leader with deep industry knowledge, excellent operational acumen, and a focus on continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will ensure that all operational processes align with company objectives, regulatory standards, and the highest levels of product quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee daily operations, including production, supply chain management, logistics, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across all facilities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with the company’s long-term strategic objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and environmental regulations (FDA, USDA, etc.).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in plant operations, product output, and supply chain performance.
  • Monitor key performance metrics (KPIs), ensuring goals related to production, quality, and cost control are consistently achieved.
  • Manage and mentor a high-performing team, including plant managers, logistics professionals, and support staff.
  • Build relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders to improve efficiency and product delivery timelines.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure operational excellence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within the dairy, food, or beverage industry.
  • Proven leadership experience in overseeing multi-site manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of dairy industry regulations, including food safety and quality standards.
  • Expertise in process optimization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with ERP and supply chain management software.
