At GAM, we provide our customers with a range of services including Regulatory and Customer Compliance of Property Systems, Import/Export Trade Compliance, Material Management, Stockrooms/Tool Cribs/Receiving, Engineering Tool Design and Rework/Repairs, Records Management, Distribution Services, Capital Asset Management, Development & Production-Equipment Maintenance, and Facilities Project Management?.nnAs a Maintenance Mechanic - Electrical Controls, you will:nnPerform a wide variety of technical duties including diagnosing / troubleshooting, repairing, or replacing electrical and electronic circuits and equipment in support of production operations and electromechanical systems.nnMaintain a variety of CNC machines, lathes, mills, vacuum pumps, electronic machine controls / controllers and lasers.nnTake direction from customers for equipment upgrades and other modifications.nnPerform research on parts, equipment, or other solutions as required to assist engineering and maintenance staff.nnCreate custom fabrications.nnLearn to use our production equipment software, including program parameters, operating settings, and programmable logic controllers.nnPerform device level repair (soldering) or replacement.nnMaintain tools and equipment, and a clean work environment.nnHelp coordinate movement of materials and equipment to work locations and set-up work sites.nnREQUIREMENTSnnMUST BE ACTIVE DUTY MILITARY (Skillbridge Applicant)nnMust be a U.S. Citizen.nnRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience.nnMust be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.nnMust be comfortable with periodically working in a production environment following all PPE, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and Safety protocols.nnMust be proficient in the use of hand tools and test equipment.nnRequires experience programming PLC's.nnMust possess a working knowledge of the national electric code and advanced fundamentals of electricity and demonstrate the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, PLC's, repair and maintenance manuals, and detail drawings.nnPhysical Requirements:nnMust be able to lift up to 35 pounds.nnMust be able to walk, squat, lean, reach, and stand for long periods of time.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnKnowledge and experience with CMMS.nnRequires experience testing and troubleshooting using equipment such as DVM's, oscilloscopes, AC & DC power supplies.nnIn compliance with the U.S. federal government’s vaccine mandate, only candidates who are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have a reasonable accommodation or approved medical exception will be considered for this position.nnINCLUSION AND DIVERSITY AT KBRnnAt KBR, we are passionate about our people, sustainability, and our Zero Harm culture.nnThese inform all that we do and are at the heart of our commitment to and ongoing journey toward being a more inclusive and diverse company.
