The Trained Medication Assistant (TMA) provides a variety of services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our residents under the supervision of a Nurse. The TMA is responsible for providing strong customer service, utilizing courtesy, dignity, and respect in all of the following responsibilities:
n
n- Create a fun, engaging and caring environment for our residents
n- Under the direction of an RN, administer routine daily prescription or non-prescription medication to residents whose condition and drug regimen are stable
n- Assist residents by providing social interaction, community connection, support, personal care, housekeeping duties and other tasks
n- Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
n- Administer constant, quality customer service to help our residents thrive
n- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
n
n- Certification/current registration as a Trained Medication Assistant (TMA)
n- High-school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
n- One year nursing/resident assistant care experience in senior services preferred but not required
n- Ability to read, write, speak and follow verbal directions in English
n- Knowledgeable about the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the CNA
n- Basic computer skills with experience or ability to learn electronic health record systems
n- Possess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care
n- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
