You will be responsible for
- Blueprint and Specification Review: Analyze architectural and engineering plans, blueprints, and project specifications to determine the scope of work, material quantities, and labor needs for steel fabrication and erection.
- Detailed Cost Estimation: Develop accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor pricing, ensuring all factors are accounted for.
- Supplier & Subcontractor Management: Source and negotiate quotes from steel suppliers, fabricators, and subcontractors to find the best pricing and solutions, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide accurate bids and coordinate with the team on project needs, changes, and client requirements.
- Risk Analysis & Market Insights: Continuously assess project risks, market trends, and material cost fluctuations to refine estimates and ensure competitive, realistic project bids.
