Ineos has an exciting opportunity for a SHE Manager to join our INEOS Composites Gelcoat business at our Fort Smith, Arkansas plant. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the EHS function. This position will report to the Plant Manager and will manage the EH&S functions for our facility.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Guiding and maintaining a safe work environment
- Coaching and evaluating personnel in work areas
- Chair, Lead, organize employee safety committee
- Lead and maintain site health/safety programs and guide site in compliance to corporate safety initiatives.
- Implement integration with the INEOS behavioral safety process
- Maintain site regulatory requirements
- Minimal Travel for training and company business
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or associate degree in relevant technical field, engineering is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years in EHS in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be engaged in shop floor activities and work with the personnel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly motivated, goal oriented, strong team player.
- Experience creating and administrating safety programs.
- Requires minimal supervision.
- Experience writing procedures and work instructions.
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Applied technical and management skills, understanding of a wide variety of Federal and State regulations in safety, worker health and environmental areas.
- Strong bias to excellent EHS performance; high level of influencing skills; team builder; excellent communication skills; coach; change agent; ability to network.
- Must be a safety leader and have a big picture view of applying to manufacturing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
- Strong computer, organizational, and written skills.
- Five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing site
