Position: HR Coordinator (Bilingual - English/Spanish)
Location: Onsite (Immokalee, FL)
Hours: Monday - Friday
Summary: The Human Resources Coordinator is a key member of the Human Resources team and is responsible for providing support to the HR department. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, assist in audits, and help in ensuring compliance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Completes new hire documentation and processes related to the documentation (i.e. background checks, employee eligibility verifications, Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
- Prepares new employee files and files additional documents into appropriate employee files throughout the employment cycle.
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Assists with processing of terminations and necessary paperwork.
- Assists with the preparation and processing of the performance review.
- Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up correspondence at the end of the recruiting process.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
- Processes mail.
- Conducts audits of payroll, benefits, or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
- Schedules meetings and interviews as requested.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in human resources or related field or at least two years of experience is required.
- Human Resources Certification credential is preferred.
