Job Description

Premier Staffing Solution is currently hiring a reliable and motivated Site Lead to join our team at one of our top-tier manufacturing clients in North Carolina.


This is a critical position, responsible for leading and managing the field operational team when on location. The Site Lead will manage the scope of the field projects as well as demonstrate strong leadership capabilities to analyze operations, staff performance and act as a liaison between the client, associates and Premier management team.


The ideal candidate will possess the following skills & capabilities:

  • Understand that safety is not just a priority, it is a mindset and way of life!
  • Required to ensure all employees are safe and to alert the client immediately of any potential safety issues at the site.
  • Must remove any associates from the project if safety standards are not being followed.
  • Ability to evaluate associates' performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Ability to assess and convey site requirements to the recruitment team for new associates.
  • Act as a liaison between the client, Premier management team and field operations with identified improvement strategies.
  • Confidence in providing guidance, mentoring and delegation to field associates.
  • Knowledge of horizontal sales and introduction to Premier management and clients while on-site.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities to ensure timely execution of tasks and projects.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and follow directions as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and be adaptive to change in activities and workloads.
  • Working knowledge of technical applications used to manage field operation time and attendance. (Training provided to gain full knowledge and expertise in order to complete required tasks.)
  • Experience in development and implementation of productivity KPI tracking.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the contract (SOW).
  • Integrity regarding matters of confidential business and associate information.


Specific Duties & Tasks:

  • Establish targets based on client needs for associates and team accountability to achieve and maintain targets. Set goals working alongside client, Premier management and associates.
  • Ensure all procedures (i.e., safety, quality, etc.) are being followed.
  • Lead, manage, mentor and coach associates on-site.
  • Observe and analyze operations and staff performance as well develop strategies for improved efficiency.
  • Assist recruitment team in selecting proper associates for client location.
  • Consistent and regular usage of technical applications for time tracking and attendance.
  • Maintain integrity of confidential information related to associates, staff and clients.
  • Travel to new sites being launched as needed.
  • Fulfill expected hours to ensure project's success.


Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in operations or maintenance managerial role.
  • 10+ years in a supervisory role with experience in managing multiple departments.
  • Strong leadership abilities and team building skills.
  • Provide positive feedback and encouragement to inspire and motivate associates to perform at their fullest capacity.
  • Foster an open forum for sharing ideas and provide cross-team learning opportunities.
  • Identify potential issues and find solutions in order to maximize team efficiency.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to expand or shift courses, maximizing productivity and efficiency as changes occur.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and other applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong personal and professional judgment to make hiring decisions and identify the best solution to support organizational needs and adjustments.
  • “Big picture” thinking to address top-level concerns and identify the best path forward utilizing all available data.
  • Highly organized and adaptable to jump from priority to priority while multi-tasking through a variety of functions and projects.
  • Shift and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly.
