Title: MEP Drafter / Designer

Location: Elk Grove, IL

Duration: Permanent hire

Hours: Flexible 7am - 9am to 4pm - 6pm Monday - Friday. 8 hours a day with a 1 hour lunch.

Remote work is not an option

Our client is seeking individuals with great growth potential and a passion for drawing building systems. Our goal is to grow CAD operators into system designers and beyond. AutoCAD Drafter / Designer for mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering. We specialize in HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical design of building systems for schools and other types of commercial buildings.

Candidates must have a minimum of:

• 3 years of experience in AutoCAD building information modeling of HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Systems for all types of commercial buildings
• Revit is a plus
• CAD operators will work closely with designers and engineers to create project construction documents
