LBA Realty consists of several real estate investment funds and joint venture partnerships with multiple investors including sovereign wealth funds, endowments, foundations, pension funds, and high-net-worth individuals.
About The Role
- The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of the asset management, portfolio analytics and acquisition teams.
- Assist with managing execution of joint-venture partnership with leading sovereign wealth fund.
- Help with portfolio and asset management including model updates and reporting.
- Work alongside Asset Managers and Operations with property budgeting process and review.
- Ad hoc portfolio analysis and performance scenarios to assist in management decisions.
- Prepare, edit, and review portfolio Argus models.
- Support quarterly budgeting by updating models, report variances and working with accounting department.
- Assist the leasing team with lease abstracts.
- Research potential tenants, model lease scenarios and write approval memos.
- Help pull and populate comps for new industrial and office acquisitions.
- Conduct market research and assist in determining and maintaining Market Lease Assumptions.
- Assist the Due Diligence group and analysis of investment opportunities.
- Create acquisition models, research markets and review loans.
- Modeling of office and industrial types using Excel and Argus.
- Preparing debt scenarios using Excel.
- Investor reporting.
- Assist in evaluating new industrial and office acquisition opportunities
- Prepare Investment Committee Memos
What We Are Looking For In A Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree required with concentration in finance/accounting/real estate preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in related commercial real estate role
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Argus Enterprise experience preferred
- Ability to use Costar and other market research platforms preferred
- Ability and willingness to be a team player—culture is a key component of our SF team
