We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Production Planner to join our team. The Senior Production Planner will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality aluminum investment castings, and working directly with customers to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
• Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, manage expectations, and ensure timely delivery of products.
• Utilize customer portals to track order status, address any issues, and communicate updates effectively.
• Ensure production schedules account for thorough quality checks and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with various departments, including operations, procurement, engineering, and quality, to ensure smooth and efficient production flow.
• Track and analyze production metrics using ERP systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods to prevent shortages or excess stock.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent proven experience as a Production Planner in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on meeting customer needs.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proven experience in working with customer portals and managing customer relationships.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Experience using ERP Systems (Epicor)
