Our client is looking for a Civil Engineer.

Responsible for:

· Performing site layout and grading design; design of water and sanitary sewer systems; performing stormwater calculations and design, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

· Coordinate with team members to execute project scope, schedules, and budgets in conformance with the project and customer requirements.

· Facilitate the minimization of project delays by providing technical reviews and recommendations when requested within predetermined timeframes.

· Research codes, guidance, policies, procedures, processes, criteria and Federal laws and regulations and provide sound technical recommendations both verbally and in writing.

· Apply innovative technical principles, practices and theories to the resolution of technical issues.

· Coordinate with the Government client, NAVFAC team members, leadership, project stakeholders, and various regulatory agencies.

· Coordinate and facilitate meetings, make recommendations based on project requirements, coordinate workflow processes, schedule/coordinate plans of actions and milestones (POAMs) and effectively communicate findings to project personnel. Provide written minutes for all meetings.

· Review technical reports, RFIs, designs, design changes for both design-build and design bid build projects, project deliverables, submittals, cost proposals from contractors, etc. to ensure compliance with customer and RFP requirements.

· Provide technical support for the review of the commissioning plan, design and construction submittals, and field inspections.

· Provide technical support for the construction field activities.

· Provide summary of accomplishments during weekly meetings and in a prepared monthly status report.

· Field investigations are excluded. No travel required.

Minimum Requirements

· US Citizen

· Security Clearance: Secret (Tier 3 preferred) or ability to obtain

· Graduate of an accredited Engineering college curriculum (4-year degree)

· Minimum of 6 years of Design Management and/or Design experience

· Have demonstrated experience performing site layout and grading design; design of water and sanitary sewer systems; performing stormwater calculations and design, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

· Have demonstrated knowledge of broad-based Engineering principles and versed in the discipline being hired.

· Sound understanding of technical concepts, principles and practices applicable to multi-disciplined engineering project design.

· Have demonstrated experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, and in briefing management personnel

· Have demonstrated experience in the use and application of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), AutoCAD and/or Revit, etc. Have the ability to adapt to new software such as eCMS, MS Teams and Zoom may also be necessary.

· P.E. desired, but not required.
