Position Summary
Responsible for implementing and monitoring manufacturing processes while ensuring customer quality and production standards.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Ensures all safety policies and procedures are followed.
- Builds a positive work environment through clear communication.
- Scheduling - assigns indirect and direct employees.
- Monitors production cycles times and processes.
- Assists with processing, troubleshooting and technical repairs.
- Verify employees are following standard work instructions and procedures.
- Promotes goals and performance standards to all employees.
- Identifies and records any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
- Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality systems.
- Controls processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product.
- Communicates company objectives to employees.
- Validates production paperwork and data entry.
- Responsible for on the job training programs.
- Conducts and documents team meetings.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining clean and organized work environment.
Preferred Education and Experience
Degree preferred or equivalent manufacturing experience. Must have leadership and manufacturing experience in a production environment.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires physical efforts in the form of sitting, typing, standing, walking, and bending/stooping and occasionally lifting weights over 10 pounds.
