Job Description

Trustpoint.One is hiring a Real Estate Litigation Attorney for our client in Honolulu .


The Real Estate attorney will manage cases with an emphasis on residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactional matters and protect the client's interest in litigation proceedings and general collection cases. The primary focus will be judicial foreclosure actions.


This is a full-service law firm which provides legal services to depository and non-depository financial institutions including banks, credit unions, mortgage servicing concerns, institutional investors, private firms, and other commercial clients.


Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from accredited law school.
  • Must be actively barred and in good standing in Hawaii .
  • Must reside on O’ahu .
  • Candidates should have at least 1-5 years of experience in the practice of law, preferably litigation, real estate or mortgage law .
  • Courtroom experience preferred .
  • Must be proficient in taking and defending depositions.
  • Must be proficient in drafting pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery, proposed orders, as well as correspondence, memoranda, and opinion letters.
  • Proficiency with Fastcase or Westlaw.
  • Must be well-versed in the rules of evidence, introducing evidence, and civil procedure in both state and federal court.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize large and complex caseloads.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials and communication skills.


NOTE:

The pay rate will be determined based on the candidate’s industry knowledge and experience.

All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
