Our client seeks an associate to join our Business Litigation practice, resident in our Minneapolis office. This position offers the opportunity to practice in all phases of general commercial, civil, and business litigation matters with a national and international client base. Candidates should have significant prior experience in complex commercial litigation, including, ideally, trade secret and non-compete litigation, intellectual property litigation, or merger and acquisition litigation, Successful candidates will have two to five years of law firm experience in a litigation-based practice with particular emphasis on litigation procedure, including the discovery process and e-discovery, motion practice, and brief writing. Deposition, hearing, and oral argument experience is a plus. Excellent academic credentials as well as strong organization skills, attention to detail, writing and analytical skills are required. Candidates with experience as a federal judicial law clerk are strongly encouraged to apply.
