One of Medix's healthcare clients is looking to bring on a Workday Leader to join and assist with growing their team.

Current Situation:

• Our client is kicking off their Workday implementation on January 1st and are focusing on building out their core internal Workday team
• they're migrating from Infor Lawson
• They will be looking at ~18 month implementation across the enterprise
• implementing full-suite
• They've already hired in a QA Application Lead that will be responsible for testing and training the team on testing throughout the project, this role is the next priority

Day to Day:

• Ultimately responsible for managing the suite of Finance & Supply Chain applications & will act as the SME
• Leading a team of workday finance analysts, supply chain analysts, & report writers as they build the team and will work alongside the implementation partner
• Responsible for the design and configuration of workday specifically in foundation data model, core accounting, supplier, and customer accounts
• Need a strong hands on resource that ALSO has experience managing a team, especially through an implementation project
• Need a FINs architect who wants to be a people manager and has had direct reports in the past

Must Haves:

• Deep finance module experience that has also worked with the Supply Chain modules - someone that has been responsible for the design & configuration of Workday
• Absolute must haves - foundation Data Model, Core Accounting, Supplier, and Customer Accounts
• Need to be able to speak finance to high level execs in order to advise them on the best workday configuration for them throughout the project
• 5+ years of workday specific experience with a healthcare provider or within higher education
• Experience working on a successful workday ERP implementation project & have system optimization experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Soft skills
• Very detail oriented with strong analytical abilities
• Strong communication - experience working with exec teams and with business partners across the org
