Objective of Job
Advise operational management on the subjects of industrial/occupational/ environmental safety/ fire protection as well as monitor and implement relevant measures and assure compliance.
Principal Activities
- Provide technical orientation/training of associates.
- Coordinate associates (e.g. personnel scheduling, etc.)/ supervise fire brigades company and support the activities related to a major emergency.
- Represent the organization before government agencies, inspections and audits, as well as follow-up observations from these.
- Coordinate and conduct environmental/ occupational/ health assessments and participate in audits of environmental management system.
- Assure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Advise management in all industrial safety-relevant topics.
- Assure the implementation of industrial safety and accident prevention.
- Create occupational health reports.
- Inform patients about the possibilities of preventions and aftercare.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in EHS
- Minimum 2 years EHS experience required
- OSHA 30-hour certification or working towards.
- CPR/AED First Aid Certification is desired
- Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA
- Experience with workers compensation
- Knowledge of First Aid, Safety, and Accident Investigation and Risk
