• Fund formation (ideally HF and/or fund of funds work)
• Negotiating investment management agreements for separately managed accounts;
• To a lesser (but not insignificant) extent, drafting and negotiating all of the firm’s trading and prime brokerage agreements (ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules and Credit Support Annexes, Master Repurchase Agreements, Master Confirmation Agreements, Futures Clearing Agreements, OTC addendums, etc.)
• General corporate matters (including NDAs, vendor contracts and employment agreements, among others)

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience, which must include experience in a private funds or investment management group at an AM Law 100 law firm.
• In-house experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment, juggle competing demands and meet aggressive deadlines is essential.
