Position : Operations Safety Manager

Location : Going to be an in office/traveling role (on-site)

Travel : 75% of the time

Pay Rate : TBD

Additional Compensation: Perdiem (GSA) or Expenses

Requirements :

• Solar, Wind, BESS, Substation
• 3 years' experience in the renewables management field
• Must know operations and maintenance responsibilities
• Must have OSHA 30 - Potentially a CSP (Certified Safety Pro)
• Can have OSHA 500 or 300, preferred

Responsibilities :

• Creating and implementing safety policies, procedures, and training programs tailored to the specific hazards of solar, BESS, and wind operations.
• Conducting regular assessments to identify potential safety risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Perform site walkarounds and daily safety inspections
• Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to promote a culture of safety across all operations.
• Maintaining accurate records of safety incidents, training sessions, inspections, and audits, and reporting findings to senior management
