About the Role:

We are seeking a Procurement Advisor/Buyer to join our team in Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-impact, strategic project that will help drive the success of a key turnaround event for the company.


What You’ll Do:

As a Procurement Advisor/Buyer , you will:

  • Lead Procurement Strategies: Develop and execute procurement strategies -- aligning with capital project goals, work scope, and risk management plans.
  • Sourcing & Stakeholder Engagement: Utilize your problem-solving and analytical skills to develop sourcing strategies based on demand forecasts, supplier market conditions, and other key business drivers. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Champion Best Practices: Ensure all sourcing and purchasing activities follow policies and procedures. Develop project-specific procurement strategies, and manage plans to align with project milestones.
  • Full Procurement Lifecycle: Support end-to-end procurement processes, including drafting scopes of work, developing RFx documents, evaluating bids, preparing for negotiations, and managing execution.
  • Contract Management & Change Control: Ensure timely and efficient execution of contracts, from inception to close-out


What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for a motivated and adaptable professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and has the following:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in strategic sourcing, supply chain management , or similar roles within an industrial operations environment.
  • Turnaround events or capital project procurement experience
  • Contract Management Expertise: Experience with invoice validation , contract interpretation , and claims management .
