CSG are pleased to be supporting an innovative Battery materials manufacturer as they continue their growth. Specialising in the Silicon Anode industry they are now looking to build on their success with the hire of a Senior Materials Engineer.

Responsibilities:

- Develop DOE for cell testing and root cause analysis of cell failures

- Research new applications for their technology

- Conduct in-depth failure analysis and interpret material and cell testing data

- Establish materials validation processes

Requirements:

-Ph.D or Masters in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering or a similar field

- 7+ years experience in cell and materials R&D (ideally within industry)

- Understanding of cell design and manufacturing processes

- Knowledge of binder systems and slurry optimisation processes

- Direct Experience with silicon anode development is highly desirable

- Strong Project management skills.
