Expanding Monmouth County New Jersey law firm is seeking to add a motivated full-time associate attorney to join our growing firm. This is a 3-5 year track partnership level position for the right candidate. You will work on a variety of residential and commercial real estate matters including but not limited to:
- Landlord Tenant proceedings, tax appeal hearings, and collection matters;
- Prepare pleadings, appear in Court and meet with clients;
- Negotiate and draft leases, purchase agreements, and other real estate documents;
- Assist clients in acquisitions, development, financing, and disposition of multi-family, retail, office, and industrial properties.
- Conduct legal research and provide advice on real estate transactions;
- Collaborate with office staff and clients to provide outstanding service and achieve favorable outcomes.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school;
- Bar Admission/Licensed to practice in NJ;
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in real estate;
- Understanding of landlord/tenant law and real estate litigation;
- Strong writing and math skills;
- Excellent multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines.
