Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Conduct thorough legal research to develop defense strategies.
• Work closely with partners, clients, and support staff to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel.
• Maintain accurate time records and adhere to client billing guidelines.
• Stay up-to-date on changes and developments in insurance law and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an attorney handling insurance defense litigation.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state of Florida and good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
