Job DetailsJob LocationCrestridge - Suwanee, GADescriptionMAIN FUNCTION:Price Industries Inc., a leader in the commercial HVAC industry, is seeking a Sheet Metal Programmer with any experience (2 years + preferred) programming Turret Punch Presses, Lasers, Panel Bender, Automated Folder and Press Brakes with the use of software like Striker Systems, Dr Abe Bend, AP100US and AutoCAD. Working knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes and their machines is highly desirable, willing to learn/train on new equipment unique software.RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:Create CNC programs for all new productsUpdate CNC programs for all Engineering ChangesAbility to layout and develop flat patterns for simple and complex partsImprove CNC material utilizationImplement changes to improve scrap rateDevelop and implement ideas to improve management of filler partsAssist production as needed in troubleshooting manufacturing issuesAbility to create and modify CAD drawingsRead, understand and comprehend basic blueprints and drawingsAbility to learn new softwareSense of urgency. This is a job tied closely to production, requiring quick implementation of new product designs and changes to existing designsStrong problem solving skills. Ability to investigate an issue and determine best course of actionPerforms with an intention to quality and continuous improvementExcellent work ethic, ability to adapt, multi-task, and work within a groupHave understanding of machinery and materials and be willing to adjust quickly to changes made to a plan when necessaryMust be well organized with the ability to be solution drivenStaying up to date with the latest tooling options and industry innovationsQualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor's degree is desirable.Preferred 2+ years experience programming Turret Punch Presses, Fiber Lasers, and Press BrakesExperience with Striker, Dr Abe Bend, AutoCAD, Solid Edge, and/or similar softwareKnowledge of textile cutting machines is desirable.Computer skills including MS Office and the ability to learn company business systemsABOUT PRICE INDUSTRIESWe are the forefront leader in non-residential air distribution products across North America.
