- 3 Month Contract-to-Hire
- Hourly/Contract Rate: $24-26/hr, DOE
- Arlington, TX (100% onsite work)
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a background check & drug screen
SUMMARY:
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the purchasing of hardware & software. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Maintain inventory levels necessary to fulfill equipment requests on material shipped from the corporate office to end-users
- Responsible for the procurement of software, maintenance of licensing information and inventory of software media
- Update inventory system with new product part number and descriptions for issuance of purchase orders
- Track order status with vendors and provides status to customers on outstanding requests. Work directly with shipping and receiving on order issues and changes
- Issue Purchase Order and Lease Equipment Order requests from other team members and departments
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of related Procurement experience – creating POs, submitting orders, processing tickets, etc.
- Experience ordering IT hardware and managing software licenses – preferred
- Ticketing system experience is required
- JD Edwards experience a plus
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management a plus
- Must have strong time management, interpersonal, & communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and email
- Ability to work overtime
