Creative Engineers Inc. (CEI) has an immediate need for a Process/Project Engineer. At CEI we provide a variety of services for our clients including engineering, chemical production, skid and pilot plant design, skid and pilot plant construction. The Process/Project Engineer will report directly to the engineering manager and be primarily responsible for:
- Calculating mass and energy balances.
- Heating, heat loss, and relief calculations
- Developing P&ID’s and PFD’s.
- Design of custom equipment.
- Specifying and buying equipment.
- Designing pipe systems and skid systems.
- Coordination and cooperation with the fabrication team when building a system.
- Participating in conducting experiments and process trials.
- Assisting in commissioning R&D systems, pilot plants, skid, and full-scale production systems.
- Preparing work proposals for clients.
Additionally, the Process/Project Engineer will have the opportunity to get involved in the following:
- Actively participating in our Safety Program.
- Marketing our services/capabilities.
- Purchasing.
- Interfacing with customers and contractors.
- Process control specifications.
- PLC implementation.
- Operation of R&D or small-scale systems.
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
- BS or MS in Chemical Engineering.
- A minimum of 3 (three) years related experience required (experience working in a chemical plant or work in chemical plant design).
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
- Professional Engineers License a plus.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD from Autodesk.
- Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time to customer sites.
- Highly motivated and the ability to work independently and within small teams.
- Ability to work from home when necessary.

Candidates must be located within one-hour drive of Shrewsbury, PA or Greenville, SC.
