About the Role:
This role offers a great opportunity for a Training & Development Coordinator to support the creation and coordination of training programs for a large production site.
Ideal for someone who has hands-on experience with training, an understanding of continuous improvement concepts, and strong administrative skills, this position allows you to make a real impact by helping to build a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Program Coordination & Delivery: Assist in designing, organizing, and delivering training sessions that meet production and quality standards. Take charge of onboarding sessions and foundational training, ensuring hands-on and effective learning.
- Support CI Integration in Training: Collaborate with team members on incorporating continuous improvement (CI) principles into training content, helping employees apply CI practices in their roles.
- Administrative Coordination: Maintain accurate training records, coordinate schedules, and oversee training documentation in the Alchemy system to ensure compliance and transparency for all training initiatives.
- Assist with Train-the-Trainer Programs: Work with supervisors to implement “train-the-trainer” programs that empower teams and enhance skill-sharing across the site.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will have a combination of hands-on training experience, a basic understanding of manufacturing or continuous improvement concepts, and excellent administrative skills to manage training coordination effectively.
- Training Experience: Hands-on experience in conducting or coordinating training sessions is required.
- Understanding of CI and Manufacturing Concepts: Familiarity with continuous improvement or manufacturing principles is beneficial.
- Strong Administrative Skills: Proven ability to coordinate schedules, manage records, and organize training activities effectively.
