Director, Business Operations – eCommerce, Site Optimization
Join the eCommerce organization on the Site Content Strategy team to help build an exceptional experience for digital customers. This newly created role is responsible for evaluating and enhancing the online customer journey, including the development of site features and functionality that drive high-quality digital experiences. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys building from the ground up, creating data frameworks, implementing processes, and collaborating with various teams to deliver a seamless and delightful shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute departmental strategic plans, establish KPI perspectives, and allocate resources effectively to meet targets.
- Metrics and Reporting: Lead the creation of new metrics and reporting tools to measure customer journey effectiveness, partnering closely with insights and analytics teams.
- Customer Issue Resolution: Build mechanisms to detect and address customer drop-offs and other issues, working with cross-functional partners to drive solutions.
- Feature Development Governance: Establish an intake and governance process for new feature requests, aligning with stakeholders on use cases and problem definitions.
- New Feature Rollouts: Oversee the full lifecycle of new feature development, from defining requirements to testing and go-to-market planning, in collaboration with product, engineering, and UX teams.
- Change Management: Implement change management strategies and training programs to ensure new processes and features are adopted across multiple business units.
- Leadership Communication: Identify and present key business issues and opportunities to senior leadership, advocating for necessary changes.
- Talent Development: Attract, develop, and retain high-caliber talent; support mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.
- Integrity and Ethics: Foster a culture where associates uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethics in all programs and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related area and 5 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, site operations, business management, or related area.
- Option 2: 7 years’ experience in eCommerce merchandising, site operations, business management, or related area.
- 2 years’ supervisory experience.
