With new ownership closing within weeks and the anticipated retirement of our current Supply Chain leader, we are searching for a dedicated, seasoned professional ready to fill "big shoes" and actively engage at every level. This hands-on role requires a leader prepared to dive into the details and guide the company through a period of tremendous growth. Reporting directly to the COO, the new Director of Supply Chain will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service to drive essential business strategies, while bringing the following experience to the role:
10+yrs Supply Chain/Procurement in a $150+ Manufacturing env.,
- 7+ Supply Chain in an Industrial Manufacturing environment (a must)
- 7+ mgt experience leading Buyers, Planners, Schedulers, Shipping, Receiving
- Exp. optimizing a SC network with worldwide distribution centers (plus)
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (required), Microsoft, and Oracle (a plus)
- Bachelors’ Degree with an MBA or Supply Chain certification (a plus)
- Demonstrated leadership with International Sourcing efforts (a plus)
- Live in the St Louis, MO area (local talent preferred or relocating to area)
10+yrs providing leadership & direction for Supply Chain, Sourcing, Strategy
- Manage suppliers, cost reduction initiatives, contract negotiations
- Oversee inventory mgt, logistics, quality, and supply chain world-wide
- Manage supplier selection, inventory management, scheduling systems
- Identify, qualify and negotiate with suppliers to ensure lowest delivered cost
- Work w/ freight, shipping lines & customs brokers to ensure on-time delivery
Implement best practices to enhance culture & operational improvements
- Work collaboratively with the Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
- Provide extreme attention to detail (this cannot be over emphasized enough)
- A proactive leader who can build, develop and lead top talent
- Strong leader able to implement tough organization strategy & structure
- Gut, instinct, and determination to enhance value and lead growth
