Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Civil Litigation Attorney at Kronenberg Law PC in Oakland, CA. The Attorney will be responsible for handling day-to-day tasks such as drafting legal motions, representing clients in court, conducting depositions, and providing legal counsel on litigation matters.

This position is envisioned to be fully remote because we have outgrown our office space. You must be an attorney, licensed to practice in California, and located within the immediate Bay Area.

We are an established, stable, AV Rated, 8-attorney civil litigation defense firm in Oakland with an exciting statewide practice in the defense of personal injury, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, professional liability, habitability, product liability, construction defect, and others. We have an excellent trial success record, and you would be working with the best in a professional/casual, collegial, and fast-paced environment. We are near Lake Merritt and just a few blocks from the 19th Street BART Station. Regular office hours are M-F, 8:30-5pm.
Who We Seek (Qualifications):
Our firm has an immediate opening for a full-time civil litigation attorney with 3-8 years’ civil litigation experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can handle and manage a strong case load through trial, and handle all day-to-day management and reporting of your cases, including depositions, experts, hearings, motion practice, trial prep, etc. A strong understanding of California Code of Civil Procedure as well as state rules is required. Familiarity with federal rules preferred. Westlaw experience a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients, opposing counsel, the court, as well as firm colleagues required. Additional qualities we look for also include strong organizational skills, reliable, attention to detail and grammar, and be reasonably tech-savvy with good typing. Experience with Clio Manage a plus. We are cloud based and paperless.
