Position: Civil Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:

I am working with top casualty defense and civil litigation firms and they are seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Attorney to join their legal team in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a diverse caseload, providing strategic legal counsel, and representing clients in civil litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in civil litigation cases, including but not limited to contract disputes, personal injury, Insurance defense, and employment law issues.
• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Manage all phases of litigation, from initial case assessment to trial and post-trial motions.
• Prepare and present persuasive arguments in court, during mediation, and at arbitration hearings.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in New York.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of New York civil procedure and rules of evidence.
