As a CSR, you'll be providing top-tier service to our clients and their pets. Responsibilities include greeting clients, managing patient records, answering inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring clear, compassionate communication.The role of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is to provide the highest level of customer service and care. This is done by answering phones, answering client questions, pulling patient charts, checking clients in and out, and accepting payments. A CSR will always maintain a professional appearance and behave in a professional manner, speak clearly and slowly for clients to understand, and relay reliable information to clients as directed by the veterinarian and/or veterinary technicians. Familiar with veterinary medical terminology and knowledgeable about hospital procedures, policies, and services. Performs other duties as assigned.Preferred QualificationsEDUCATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTSHigh school Diploma or Equivalent Previous on-the-job training is desirable, but not required. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred. PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 18 years of age. Genuinely enjoys working with people and animals. Possess initiative, follow through and a "can do" attitude. Can remain calm and efficient during a crisis. Well-spoken (able to read, write, speak, and understand English well) and approaches his/her job duties in a mature nature. Ability to convey information effectively and correctly. Physical Effort: Work requires lifting, carrying, sitting and standing for extended periods of time.
