Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Effective communication with both clients & team
• Client education
• Safe handling & restraint of animals
• Obtain vitals & medical history
• Venipuncture
• Place intravenous catheters
• Administer medications PO, SQ, IM, & IV
• Administer & monitor anesthesia
• Surgical assistance
• Laboratory testing & radiography

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2 + years of experience in a veterinary setting
• Completion of an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program Preferred
• Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) Preferred
