Job Summary:Executes assigned production tasks in accordance with procedures to ensure the right levels of HSE, Quality, Service, and costs.Key Responsibilities:Take ownership of production assets and ensure they are operated safely and as per established procedures, guidelines, and industry good practice.Perform daily production, preventative maintenance, process data collection, and administration tasks as per procedures and control systems.Report safety, quality, or other issues related to products or production processes to Team Leader / Shift Supervisor.Ensure all production targets are met while maintaining appropriate quality standards.Issue CAR or Hazard reports when any relevant issue is noticed, regardless of location or responsible department.Provide progress updates to the Team Leader / Shift Supervisor.Attend and contribute to meetings.Contribute to the investigation of HSE or quality issues, such as customer complaints and reject batches.Participate in Continuous Improvement activities & programs for HSE, Quality, ALPS, or other assigned tasks.Familiarize and comply with all applicable corporate, site, and laboratory policies/procedures regarding personal conduct, HSE, and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards.Clean portable tanks, valves, filters, pumps, and other equipment using cleaning chemicals and tools.Operate diaphragm pumps if applicable and perform area housekeeping duties per expectations.Required Qualifications:Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and guidelines.Ability to pass forklift test and obtain forklift certification.Ability to operate a forklift effectively and efficiently.Ability to read and apply accurate labels.Ability to measure and weigh accurately.Ability to lift and handle containers such as 5-gallon pails (up to 75 lbs), 60 lb bags of pigment, or maneuvering drums (up to 900 lbs).Must have effective interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and multi-task.Commitment to safety leadership.Ability to work in various environments, including hot, cold, and inclement weather.High School Diploma required.Prior experience in a paint manufacturing facility preferred.Prior manufacturing experience preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Basic Microsoft skills preferred.English-speaking proficiency is preferred.Certifications:Forklift certification required.
