Job Description $17-$18/hr 7:30am-3:30pm Summary:
A Team Lead communicates key goals, defines responsibilities, and oversees the functionality of a work group by providing guidance and instruction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
- Forklift Experience - 85% of job.
- Assist in managing shipping, receiving, and order activities
- Works alongside and oversees operational staff to complete assigned tasks/work in effective and efficient manner
- Coordinate with team members on daily tasks based on business need and volume
- Report activity to management
- Audit inventory when requested
- RF scan gun
- Input orders into Korber WMS system
- Report overages, shortages, and damages
- Promote growth of team members
- Help ensure site maintains a safe work atmosphere
- Promote positive work environment
- Help unload and load trucks
- Perform all work activities to meet or exceed company and customer expectations
- Follow and enforce all company guidelines and procedures
- Respond to emails/calls in a timely manner
- 5S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain)
- Lift up to 35lb
A Successful Team Lead:
Must consistently demonstrate the company's Mission and Values. They must have good oral and written communication skills in order to effectively interact with customers, drivers and other team members in person and on the telephone. They must be customer service-oriented as well as team-oriented and must have good organizational skills. A successful Team Lead must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Finally, they must be able to work a flexible schedule when needed to including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
