POSITION DESCRIPTION: A warm private residence for seniors in the southwest of the island of Montreal has a cook opportunity to fill for a permanent full-time position, minimum 32 hours.
You are creative and passionate, wanting to offer an exceptional culinary experience to residents! Comfortable hours that will allow you to enjoy a social life and a dedicated team await you. One weekend out of two worked.
Salary: $21.25 to $23.54/h.
ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate in preparing menus by suggesting ideas
Ensure that the kitchen and equipment are kept clean in accordance with hygiene and sanitation standards
Ensure that the use of foodstuffs is optimized in compliance with quality standards
Participate in the assembly of the plates
Peel and cut vegetables for meals
Perform any other related tasks
See to the preparation of cold dishes and desserts
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
MAPAQ training certification
Professional studies diploma (DEP) in institutional cooking or equivalent (an asset)
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in catering
