What you’ll do Support agile innovative infrastructure solutions that take advantage of cloud technology for cost optimization and standardization.
Manage OS, load balancers, and web server-related issues and configurations.
Manage repave or patching activities seamlessly with the help of IaC automation.
Collaborate with the team to build and manage Cloud IaC (Infrastructure as Code) standards and implementation.
Work closely with geographically distributed teams on technical challenges and process improvements.
Provide on-call support.
Take control of deliverables and lead the entire team.
What you bring to the role Proficient in AWS or GCP Cloud.
Strong Windows Administration and tuning skills.
Hands-on experience with performance tuning, OS patching, IIS web server support, Active Directory management, user and group management, DNS/NS management, and SSL certificate management.
Knowledge of protocols such as DNS, LDAP, and SMTP.
Expert in PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
Knowledge in Globalscape or similar FTP tools.
Nice to have knowledge in Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
Familiarity with observability tools such as Elastic.

This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Halifax, NS or Mississauga, ON.
