WHAT YOU WILL DO
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver web applications development and support services for the organization’s internal and external solutions. The role will engage with project managers, business analysts, third-party partners and internal end clients to analyze business requirements and deliver the required solutions. The role will also use machine learning, programming, data visualization tools and techniques to generate data outputs.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Collaborate with team members and end-users to analyze and document business requirements.
Design, program, test, document, implement and support high-quality web applications, SQL databases that satisfy business needs.
Support sales, marketing, service and other departments with campaign requirements, identify/recommend key campaign target audience selection including prospect and/or customer data using data-driven insights, to ensure optimized customer journey and response rates.
Utilizing the campaign management tool, set-up of acquisition and retention campaigns; data selection criteria based on the customer journey, segmentation and behaviors; generation of campaign lists; campaign deployment tasks and adhoc data queries.
Support the team in machine learning tasks and activities preparing data, selecting appropriate machine learning algorithms, training, evaluating, deploying and monitoring of models.
Work with the Infrastructure team to setup, manage, maintain supporting web infrastructure including implementation of security guidelines
Develop and maintain user or technical documents of all applications.
Provide emergency troubleshooting and technical support of production solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE
Completion of an undergraduate degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
2-5 years of relevant experience in same or similar function.
Working knowledge of Microsoft technology including .Net Framework/.Net Core, C#, SQL Server and components, Modern Front-End framework (Vue, React)
Experience with Jira, Docker, RabbitMQ, GIT, Dev Ops, Tableau
Experience with SAS campaign management tool (CI and SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) is an asset).
Experience with Extract Transfer Load (ETL) data processes
Experience with Python programming language and machine learning tools and libraries
Understanding of IIS, security principles, microservices, relational databases
Excellent technical and communication skills who can interface directly with internal stakeholders to understand their needs to administer and enhance the system accordingly.
Effective project management, business analysis and database marketing skills. Attention to detail, strong oral and written communication skills and a get-it-done attitude.
Experienced in sharing insights using story-telling skills.
A self-starter who is tenacious and creative in finding ways to get things done
