Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Cisco Architect for our client.
Tasks and Responsibilities Context:
The client's telecommunications department, made up of the Network and IP Telephony groups, is directly involved in several large-scale projects currently being carried out within the company. The Cisco Architect is responsible for the various support and monitoring activities for IP telephony networks and solutions. The scope of the telecommunications service's activities targets the client as well as all of its subsidiaries whose infrastructure extends to around fifteen physical sites across the province.
On the telephony side, nine (9) Cisco Call Managers manage 6,000 telephones. The infrastructure is made up of Cisco 2800, 2900 and 4300 series voice gateways. The call centers of the client and its subsidiaries are supported by Cisco UCCX technologies.
Mandate The client's telecommunications department wants to have an advisor specialized in IP telephony to respond to the needs and requests in its field in order to ensure sufficient delivery and operation capacity. The advisor's main tasks will be to:
Participate in telephony group operations (45% of the time): Monitor the overall health of the telephone network and call centers;
Administer Cisco voice gateways, CUCM, UCCX, and support tools (recording, CDR, etc.);
Provide 24/7 support for levels 2, 3 and 4. He will be on call between 20-30% of the time;
Process queries and change requests in compliance with SLAs;
Keep documentation up to date.
Implement telecommunications architectures and support IT projects (50% of the time): Migration of PRI infrastructure to SIP / Cisco Cube;
Major version upgrade of telephony tools;
Optimization of UCCX clusters;
Implementation of omnichannel;
Monitor technologies in line with the client’s business objectives (5% of the time).
Compliance Elements A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience as an IP telephony administrator, including five (5) years as a solutions architect;
Knowledge of SIP, H323, MGCP, T.38/T.30, Q-SIG, ISDN, SCCP signalling protocols;
Experience in the administration and migration of Cisco unified communications tools: Call Manager version 10.x, 11.x and 12.x;
Cisco Unity Connection version 10.x, 11.x and 12.x;
Cisco Unified Contact Centre Express version 10.x, 11.x with advanced scripting experience;
Finesse 11.x, 12.x.
Experience in a PRI to SIP migration project in a large company;
Experience in redesigning a customer center under UCCX;
Experience in level 3 and 4 support in telephony infrastructure under Cisco CUCM and UCCX.
In the event of non-compliance with these elements of compliance, the application will be automatically rejected.
