The ideal candidate will have a strong background in state and local tax (SALT), tax accounting, tax audit, and tax planning. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all state and local tax matters, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and providing strategic tax planning. Job Details Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a CPA certification is preferred. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on state and local tax (SALT). 3. Comprehensive knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns. 4. Strong experience with tax planning and strategy implementation. 5. Excellent knowledge of tax software and databases. 6. Strong experience with IRS and state tax audits. 7. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and FASB reporting standards. 8. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to work in a detail-oriented environment. 9.
