Asset CoordinatorClassificationExemptReports toIT Asset ManagerJOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/ObjectiveThe responsibility of this role is to provide monitoring, support, execution and communication to internal stakeholders and external vendor relationships. The IT Asset Coordinator will establish service level communication, bridge data gaps and ensure IT Procurement and IT Asset management policies and procedures are being administered efficiently, accurately and within appropriate timelines. Essential FunctionsMonitor and assess Asset and Procurement processes for accuracy and efficiency.Maintain Service Now database of software contracts, enterprise license agreements, hardware lifecycle, purchase information, entitlements and maintenance.Work with Cellular Sales Market leadership to communicate Procurement and Compliance requirements.Oversees access to IT online services and portals including services, licensing, and support.Assist in development of IT Asset/IT Procurement related communication and procedures, to impact data tracking and optimization of Asset life cycles.Evaluate vendor hardware pricing model options and maintenance programs to ensure total cost of ownerships are optimized.Initiate internal audits to ensure compliance, handle end users licensing issues and/or corrective actions and coordinate software retirement/sun-setting to appropriate parties.Provide support for the creation and communication of Procurement and Asset management processes.Works with internal stakeholders or Product Owners to communicate manufacture related Asset changes and associated road map strategies.Identify and advise management and technical teams on license entitlements derived from software deployed.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Competencies Accountability: Accepting responsibility that results in anticipation/prevention of problem areas from actions, and problem solving inside and outside the department/organization.Financial Awareness: Actively seeking opportunities to optimize financial costs and investments when making decisions that have a financial implication.Initiative: Spotting opportunities within a circle of influence; anticipating threats and acting on them; self-starting rather than waiting passively until the situation demands action.Organizational Awareness: Having and using knowledge of systems, situations, procedures, and culture inside the organization to identify potential problems and opportunities; perceiving the impact and the implications of decisions on other components of the organization.Results Orientation: Being persistent and showing perseverance on achieving concrete and tangible results out of personal responsibility; getting optimum results from situations and being ready to take action and show tenacity in case of obstacles or resistance.Teamwork: Working as a productive member of a cohesive group toward a common goal, and contributing to team development and effective team dynamics.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position has no supervisory responsibility.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical DemandsMust be able to perform repetitious hand/eye movement. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and assist in transport/delivery of packages as necessary. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Regular days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Work outside of business hours is also necessary to perform the essential functions of this role.TravelTravel is required for this position up to 20%.
