We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Director Long Term Acute Care to oversee resident care in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting near Hays, KS.
The RN Director Long Term Acute Care will be responsible for managing licensed clinical staff and consulting with physicians and the management team on nursing issues to ensure that facility policies are interpreted correctly and that resident needs are met. Key responsibilities include planning and controlling the annual budget for LTC, making critical decisions and formulating policies, and ensuring the staff's ability to assess and manage pain effectively while educating residents and families. The role also involves overseeing the assessment of all residents, ensuring proper completion and updating of Minimum Data Sets (MDS) and care plans, and coordinating patient care to optimize safety and quality.
Ideal candidates for the RN Director Long Term Acute Care will posses strong leadership skills, a positive attitude, and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment that prioritizes the needs of residents and their families.
